Naa Anim-Appiah, Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, has over 25 years of experience as a finance executive with 10 of those years in the nonprofit sector. Naa oversees the annual planning and budgeting process at PolicyLink, working with the executive, program, and operational heads to translate their annual workplans into annual budgets. She also generates quarterly and monthly financial reports that go directly to program leads and PolicyLink executives to help them make informed decisions with that data. Naa’s finance career began in the corporate world where she has worked with both large corporations such as Pepsico as well as smaller start-ups. Prior to joining PolicyLink, her most recent position was Head of Finance at Resource Area for Teaching (RAFT) in San Jose. Naa was born and raised in Ghana, West Africa. She obtained her BA in Economics from Spelman College and an MBA from Emory University. Naa enjoys gardening in her pastime. She believes in giving back through mentoring younger women and she is involved with organizations that provide mentoring opportunities.
