Lenace Edwards, Community Engagement & Field Director on the Sustainable Cities team at PolicyLink, works to foster partnerships between city governments and local leaders to advance racial wealth equity and climate-related outcomes for Black populations. With a background in union organizing, Lenace held various leadership positions at UNITE HERE and SEIU, bringing over a decade of experience in grassroots organizing, coalition building, and strategic advocacy to her current role. Lenace holds a bachelor of arts in English Literature from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is dedicated to advancing social and economic justice. In her free time, Lenace enjoys hiking, attending live music events, and reading a good book.
