Corporation to Develop Communities of Tampa, Inc. is using HFFI financing to make an equity investment to construct and co-own a 25,000-square-foot shopping plaza. Neighbors and Neighbors Association, Inc.

Neighbors and Neighbors Association (NANA), Inc. is using HFFI financing to sponsor the Redland Market Village (RMV) Expansion project in Naranja, Florida. The RMV is a retail center and farmers market, totaling 19,800 square feet. Thus far, the expansion has created 42 jobs, many of which are targeted to low-income individuals. The project expands food retail outlets at the farmers market and the existing Redland Market, with the purpose of building small businesses and expanding access to healthy food in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Carrfour Supportive Housing, Inc.

Carrfour Supportive Housing, Inc. is using HFFI financing to increase production capacity at Verde Gardens in Miami-Dade County, Florida in partnership with Earth Learning. The Farm Enterprise at Verde Gardens is a 22-acre organic farm and nursery in a 5,000-square-foot building that houses a commercial kitchen, a farmers market, and a food processing facility. This project is expected to create 27 new, full-time jobs for low-income individuals and improve access to fresh, healthy, and nutritious foods through its mobile market and food distribution components.
