Anna Souyoung Kim, Managing Director of Communications, harnesses communications to help PolicyLink advance a future where everyone can participate, prosper, and belong. Anna is grateful to have worked with organizations and communities that have helped her understand that realizing a more just and equitable reality is not just urgently needed — it is possible and underway. Working across a variety of movements, she developed a passion for supporting rigorous, data-driven, and community-centered communications strategies that are fueled by learning and improvement. Prior to joining PolicyLink, Anna was the Chief of Strategic Affairs at Community Solutions, a nonprofit dedicated to helping communities measurably and equitably end homelessness. She also served as the Director of Communications at The Bronx Defenders and led health communications and advocacy at the International Rescue Committee. Anna earned a bachelor of arts from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and a Masters in journalism and international relations from New York University. Anna resides in Manhattan and is a proud first-generation Korean American.
